One thing we have done is set up several fundraisers. The first one was sent out with our Christmas cards and posted on Facebook/blog. The response from everyone has been awesome and we thank the Lord for all those who have given! We need to continue in raising funds as we are getting closer to receiving a referral and we are a bit away from meeting our total fundraising goal. We know He shall supply ALL of needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus and we thank Him for the ideas He has given us for these fundraisers.
Our next BIG fundraiser is a puzzle. Yes, a puzzle. I have seen this done on many other adoption blogs and it's such a special way to honor our future children and show them all the people who love them and who helped bring them home. We have purchased a gorgeous 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle from a woman who does amazing watercolor prints for adoption. The one we chose is called The Impact of the Red Thread based on the Chinese proverb of the red thread. This is what the image is on the puzzle. It's gorgeous and will go beautifully in our nursery!
Here is how the fudraiser works :- Each piece of the puzzle is $10 each
- You can "sponsor" as many pieces as you would like
- When a puzzle piece is purchased, the person's or persons'/family's name is written on the back of the piece.
- Once all the pieces are purchased and the puzzle is completed we will put the puzzle in double sided frame so our children can see all the people who helped to bring them home (I get emotional just thinking about this!)
- You can purchase your pieces by clicking on our Paypal Donate button at the top right corner and indicating in the message box home many pieces you would like to purchase. Please donate in monetary increments of 10 so we know it's for the puzzle fundraiser.

COFFEE FUNDRAISER One other ongoing fundraiser is from Just Love Coffee Roasters. They are wonderful company dedicated to sustainable farming, providing customers with delicious, organic coffee and helping those in needs. One of the founders of the company has been through the adoption process and realized the great need families have for raising funds when adopting. Read his bio here. We created a storefront through their website so people can buy Just Love Coffee Roasters while supporting our adoption.
